Bruce Anthony Wilkinson

Bruce Anthony Wilkinson, age 42, of Little River, South Carolina passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2023. Born in Staten Island, New York, on June 25, 1981, Bruce was a son of Antonietta “Toni” Lapari Wilkinson and the late Bruce W. Wilkinson.

At the age of seven, their family moved from Staten Island, NY to Murrells Inlet, SC. He was a graduate of Waccamaw High School, class of 1999. Bruce received his HVAC Certificate from Horry Georgetown Tech in 2016 and worked at Sandpiper Heating and Air. Prior to becoming an HVAC technician he worked in many restaurants specializing in Italian cuisine and he could sling a mean pizza.

Bruce enjoyed playing both hockey and golf; planning Disney trips; Fantasy Football; and online shopping. He relished cooking and could whip up a meal from scratch in no time and anything he cooked was always delicious. A self-made handyman, Bruce had a knack for fixing anything and everything, DIY projects.

On April 1, 2016, Bruce married Mary Wilkinson and began a family soon after. The infamous family motto was "Fun First" and his personal words of advice were "it is what it is!" He fought cancer courageously and never gave up. He was willing to do whatever was necessary to battle.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Mary and mother, Toni, is his son, Briggs Anthony Wilkinson; daughter, Breelyn Marie Wilkinson; brother, Christopher Wilkinson; aunts; uncles; and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
