Brian Edgar Corley, 36, died December 25, 2020, at his home in the Cherry Grove section of North Myrtle Beach. Brian was born in Roswell, GA, on November 30, 1984, a son of Judy Stanfield Corley and the late Bobby R. Corley. He grew up on St. Simons Island, GA and moved to North Myrtle Beach with his family in 1995 when he was 10 years old. Brian quickly declared he was home.
Brian graduated from North Myrtle Beach High School in 2003. He worked at Bluegreen Resorts in sales and was known as the go to guy for help, support and a positive outlook. He was an entrepreneur at heart and worked at several local restaurants as a manager and bartender. He had many plans for his future and was going to open a restaurant and bar in 2021 with his business partner.
Growing up and living on the coast his entire life, Brian loved the water and was constantly at the beach. His family and a few friends will return his ashes to the ocean in Cherry Grove, the place he loved the most, and a memorial will be held at a later date. Brian was loved by all who really knew him. 'Sweet B', as his mother called him, has left too soon and will be terribly missed.
He is survived by his mother of North Myrtle Beach; brothers Matthew W. Corley of Panama City Beach, FL; John A. Corley of North Myrtle Beach; an aunt Jackie Corley Graham of Sugar Hill GA.; the love of his life, Hannah Belle Smithson of North Myrtle Beach; his dog Buddy; several cousins and many friends.
He is predeceased by his father; grandparents Hatley Wallace Stanfield, Vivian Preston Stanfield, Edgar Corley and Myrtle Farmer Corley; uncles Steven Stanfield, Michael Stanfield, Gene Corley and Edgar Corley; and aunts Frances Corley Green, Kathleen Corley Wilkes and Geri Corley Leggett.

The world is too dangerous, too beautiful for anything but love.
May your eyes be so blessed you see God in everyone.
Your ears so blessed you hear the cry of the poor.
May your hands be so blessed that everything you touch is a sacrament.
Your lips, so you speak nothing but truth and love.
May your feet be so blessed they run to everyone who needs you.
And may your heart be so open so set on fire, that your love changes everything.
