Billie Faye Clemons

Billie started her career working as a teenager in a coffee shop in Loris. She later became a hairdresser in the 1970’s and owned a beauty shop adjacent to her home. She was a court stenographer for the South Carolina Highway Department and retired as a full time secretary for Living Water Baptist Church.

Billie leaves behind her loving and devoted husband Sonny Clemons; her daughter Joni Johnson; son in-law David Johnson and sisters; Virginia Carter wife of Robert B. Carter; Nina Edge wife of Joseph Daniel Edge (Deceased); granddaughters Holly Reed; Hannah Johnson and great granddaughter Grace Whitehead; stepdaughters Tiffany Clemons; Jessica and Craig Frey; step grandchildren Nahla and Zion Clemons; Elijah, Samuel, and Jeremiah Frey.

She is predeceased by her brother Lewis Bryant; sisters Louise Gilliam, wife of Ernest Gilliam, Esta B. Carter, Lois Tyler, and Lena Hewitt.

Graveside services will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, February 15th, 2022 at Mt. Leon Cemetery, Hwy. 905, Longs, SC. The family will greet friends at the cemetery.

In lieu flowers, memorials may be made to Living Water Baptist Church Harvest Class, 1569 Hwy 9 East, Longs, SC 29568.
