In 1959, Anne and her family moved from Scotland to the United States. She met and fell in love with Gerald Kirby. The two were married on May 30, 1970 and resided in East Rutherford, NJ before moving to Rutherford, NJ where they raised their three daughters. Anne retired from Rolodex following a lengthy career.
Since the young age of 10, becoming a US Citizen was very important to Anne. Long hours of studying and learning about America made her dream become a reality. In 1993, she officially became a citizen of the United States of America. She celebrated this great accomplishment with her family and friends.
A talented dancer and always the life of the party, Anne loved entertaining. Her smile lit up a room and her laugh was contagious. She was a witty and fun loving mother and friend. She loved her children and Gerald, but absolutely adored her grandchildren. They became the lights of her life. Memories will always be cherished.
Surviving in addition to her husband of 53 years, Gerald, are her daughters, Kimberly Hart (husband, John), Kelly Kirby (husband, James Caratenuto) and Melissa Rodrigues. Her grandchildren, Ashley Kirby, Selena Hart, Pedro Rodrigues, Brian King, Jr., Britney Rodrigues and Madison Caratenuto also survive Anne.
