Ronald S. Sokol, age 78, US Army Veteran, passed away on December 1, 2024. Loving husband of 50 years to Gini Sokol; Beloved father to Matthew Sokol and Laura (Erik) Dahl; Cherished Papa to Max and Gwen; Dear brother to Cindy Sokol; Uncle, cousin, and friend to many. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Steve and Harriette Sokol. Visitation for Ron will be from 4-8 PM on Tuesday, December 10, at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 5015 Lincoln Ave, Lisle, IL 60532. Funeral Service will be at 11 AM on Wednesday, December 11, at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Pl, Memphis, TN 38105.
