I will never forget Marianne's love for people and for nature.

Dear Family and Friends of Marianne, 
I had lived with Marianne in Lisle for more than 8 years. All those years we never had and argument, a harsh word. She was such a perfect roommate, friend, always patient, kind open hearted.
We first met in Bowling Green at camp. Ones she was our co-cancellor very helping, supportive. I felt our life will bring us closer one day. 
We both wanted to be closer to Master and move to Naperville or somewhere to that area. In 2006 finally it happened. Marianne moved from Ohio, I moved from Chicago. We decided to look for an apartment and move in together. We moved to Lisle to a townhome.
I had a chance to meet many of here family members and friends and she met mine. One summer 2 of my Hungarian satangi friends visited for 3 weeks. In spite of all inconvenience  Marianne was always accommodating and very sweet with them.
She got up early every morning for her meditation never missing a day. She worked very hard, sometimes longer hours, but every Saturday morning she went to the center to do her seva. 
Her dedication was such a great example. 
She loved nature. She loved taking long speedy walks early morning when she had time to the Arboretum enjoying the nature, watching the birds. She had a bird feeder and it had never been empty. Her plant were beautiful, and healthy.
Her health started to deteriorate but  i never heard her complaining. She accepted her condition and surrendered to the will of God and the Master.
After moving away we still kept our friendship, even though we didn't meet to often but kept messaging and calling each other.
I visited her on her last day. She had difficulties to talk but she gave me a sweet smile as a recognition when I greeted her. Susanne was with her helping her to feel as comfortable as that was possible. 
We were able to kiss her, stroke her as a final Good Bye as we know now.
She is still with me in my heart; young, healthy, sweet and beautiful.
She is happy now with no more pain in the lap of he

My condolences, sending thoughts and prayers. The video tribute was beautiful of your mother.  I know she will be watching over all of you.  I still remember the memories going to Killbuck to visit when I was a little girl. She was such a strong woman and will be missed...

Marianne was a great friend. Her nature was much like those of my friends in the 60’s. We could talk openly about our circumstances and opinions without criticism or judgement. Marianne knew everyone is limited in their understanding. Only the great spiritual Masters see the bigger picture; they alone are all knowing. Having this awareness would often have us laughing at one another’s perspective of life. I will greatly miss our walks, talks, meals and laughter that we shared for many years. True friends are few and far between.

Over the years I was lucky enough to do seva with Marianne and I was always grateful when I was partnered up with her. She was the kindest soul and had such a loving, gentle nature. Her smile was contagious and I always felt such a genuine warmth coming from her. I can honestly say she was one of my favorite people.  How lucky you all were to have her as a Mom, Aunt, sister, or cousin.

I will always remember Aunt Marianne and her beautiful, genuine smile, her kindness, and gentleness.  It's so sad that she had to leave so soon!  My sympathy goes out to all of you! 

Marianne lived as a fragrant flower, filling the atmosphere with her sweet compassionate, kind and caring fragrance.

Marianne was a dear, sweet, sweet friend. I remember her smile and her solicitude for everyone. Her humble demeanor belied her strong character and her aptitude for service. 
Doing seva together was a dream and we had such a great time, often hugging each other afterwards.  I remember us staying up late to clean up; having a meal way past midnight; getting ready for an event, and doing countless small chores. Marianne had always a smile on her lips even when she was very tired.  We all loved working together. 
I will miss you Marianne. 

Marianne was such a sweet soul who had such a wonderful sense of humor. I had the privilege to work along side Marianne for a couple of years, and her uncanny ability to make light of any situation made her such a joy to be around. Her dedication and love was always on display and will live on with all those who’s lives she touched. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered. Sending lots of luv to the whole family.

I met Marianne in 1999, the first year I went to camp. She was a wealth of information and humor. For over twenty years I’ve enjoyed her friendship, kindness, and spiritual perspective. She was one of the most real people I know. And even though recently I only saw her from time to time in Chicago, our exchange of texts and phone chats will be truly missed. Sending love to everyone in Marianne’s large and wonderful family. 

I'm saddened to hear this news about my dear sister. She was such a sweetheart. Very loving and kind in every way. A truly sincere soul. I will miss her presence at the Science of Spirituality.  Love always.

Memories of growing up are sweeter because of your presence. Always gentle, always kind, always a knowing twinkle in your eye. It’s from Sam Fletcher (she gave permission to share it)… “Marianne, This is what I think the other planes will be like but even more beautiful. I didn't realize how much I miss Marianne until these past days when I wanted to call her.  Marianne will be with me in spirit, as she was in life.  Fran Smith
