Linda M Fox

Linda was preceded in death by her beloved mother Lois Wilson, her dear father Robert Wilson, fond father-in-law Kenneth Fox, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins who she will meet in heaven. She is survived by her husband Kevin Fox, daughter Elise Fox, son Jake Fox, sister Julie Wilson, mother-in-law Kathleen Fox, sister-in-law Kristin (Robert) Hlavacek and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, who will never forget the love she brought to their lives.

She was born in Oak Park, IL in 1961 to Robert Wilson and Lois Wilson, nee Cunningham. Linda studied Biology at the University of Illinois–Chicago. She then went to work as a chemist at several companies before spending much of her career at Paxxus in Addison, IL performing analytical chemistry as a Lab manager.

Linda was a devoted mother to Elise and Jake, her pride and joy. She always said raising children improved her life, and Elise and Jake always felt the love and support she provided. Linda was especially proud of Elise and Jake graduating from Illinois State University.

Linda took delight in connecting with nature. She loved going on hikes, birdwatching, and bicycling. She appreciated going on trips to the mountains with her family. Linda was a devoted Christian who cherished her Bible and the teachings of Jesus Christ. She attended Trinity Lutheran Church and participated in several small groups there. The love and support she obtained from these groups was immense.

Visitation is scheduled for October 3, 4 pm-8 pm at Blake Lamb Funeral Home, 5015 Lincoln Ave, Lisle Il. An additional visitation will be held Friday, October 4th at 9:00 am at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1101 Kimberly Way, Lisle, IL followed by funeral mass at 10:00 am. Burial will be immediately after the service at Lisle Cemetery, 979 Ogden Ave, Lisle, IL 60532.
