John George Lobherr

John G. Lobherr, age 90, WWII Army Veteran, of Roselle, passed away on January 26, 2011 in Glendale Heights. He was born on March 3, 1920 in Egg Harbor, New Jersey. John was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Roselle. He served for all of our freedom during WWII as an Army Staff Sergeant Battery A 898th Field Artillery Battalion. He was honorably discharged on October 10, 1945 from Fort Dix, New Jersey. Husband of the late Myrtle; loving father of John R. (Renee), Judith (Rudolf) Zelaitis and Donna (Richard) Waechter; cherished grandfather of six and adored great-grandfather of four. Beginning at 12:00 pm on April 2, 2011, a memorial service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 405 S. Rush St., Roselle, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to Trinity Lutheran Church or Veterans of Purple Heart Association would be appreciated.
