Glenn G. Diller Jr.

Glenn G. Diller, Jr., 73, of Plainfield, passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at Alden Estates of Naperville. He was born December 17, 1950 in Aurora, Illinois to Glenn Sr. and Elizabeth (McIntosh) Diller.

Glenn graduated from West Aurora High School in 1969. Upon graduation he enlisted in the United States Marine Corp. He served in Vietnam from September 1, 1970 to June 1, 1971.

Glenn was awarded the Navy Commendation Medal with Combat “V” Device and the Purple Heart.

Glenn was employed by All-Steel, Furnas Electric, and the Kane County Jail.

Survivors include two sons, Duane and Brandon Diller; one grandson, Brandon Jr; and one granddaughter, Kayley; one brother Ray (Kathy) Diller; five sisters, Roseanne Krantz, Elizabeth Germain, Edith (Pete) Lemmer, Merry (Randy) Barnes, and Carol Diller; several nieces and nephews. Also, his loving dog, Duke.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Judy Walsh and Glenda Diller in infancy; and his dog, Bella.
