Fred L. Fencl

Fred L. Fencl, died peacefully Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at his residence. Former resident of Villa Park. He was born August 7, 1915 in Chicago to Joseph and Lillian (Volin) Fencl; beloved husband for 72 wonderful years of Dorothy, nee Henson, Fencl; devoted father of Donald (Jeanette) Fencl, Glenn (Susan Matson) Fencl, and Jean Hansen; loving grandfather of Morgan and David Fencl, Miranda and Marissa Fencl, and Linnea, Jackie and Dominic Hansen. Fred was a WWII Coast Guard veteran. He worked as a plant manager for Magikist Rug Cleaners for 38 years. Visitation Friday, December 16, 2011 from 4-8 pm at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 5015 Lincoln Ave., Lisle (on Rt. 53, ½ mile south of Ogden Ave. / Rt. 34). Lying in state Saturday, December 17, 2011 from 9:30 am until time of funeral service 10:30 am at Calvary United Methodist Church, 130 E. Highland Ave., Villa Park.
