Frank was a proud Navy Veteran who served his country during WWII. He met his wife, Frances, during their high school days and were married September 26, 1948 and the couple had five children.
Frank loved rooting for the Chicago Cubs and watching old Western movies. He liked reading, especially Westerns, and was a fan of going to the racetrack to watch horseraces. He will be remembered for his dazzling smile that lit up every room, despite his nickname, "Grump." He was a very proud, stubborn, Italian man, who had an infectious personality and brought joy with him everywhere he went. He was a loving father, husband, and grandfather.
Frank is survived by his beloved granddaughter, Jackie (Ben) Baron; his children, Kathi (Jim) Harpole, Karen Bovio, and Fran Klima; grandchildren, Jim (Nicole) Dirks, Rich Yackley, Michael (Dawn) Bovio, Sara (Scott) Yackley, Madisyn Audette, Maxwell (Bridgette) Klima, and Melina Klima; and many great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances; his mother, Anna; his sons, Frank and Art; his grandson, Artie; his brother, Anthony; and his son-in-law, Joe.
