On February 7th., 2023, at the age of 93, Florence passed away peacefully in Phoenix, AZ where she lived for the last 14 years after relocating from Naperville, Illinois. Florence was the beloved wife to the late Kenneth and loving mother to Barbara (Ralph) Fornari, Kenneth (Mary), Joan (John) Gatz, Jean (Mark) Koloseike, and Michael (Lisa). Proud Grandmother of 14 and Great-Grandmother of 13. Dear sister of the late Robert (Shirley) Smith. Aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Florence was a cherished former nurse at Little Company of Mary Hospital in Evergreen Park, Illinois, and Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn, Illinois.
A visitation will be held Friday, February 17th from 9am - until time of Funeral Mass 10:30am at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 310 South Wheaton Avenue, Wheaton, Illinois 60189. Entombment to immediately follow at Assumption Catholic Cemetery, 1S510 Winfield Road, Wheaton, Illinois.
