Eunice M Wargo

Eunice M. Wargo, 94, of Lisle, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, January 12, 2022. She was born on May 21, 1927 in Chicago to George and Maddie (Larsen) Thorpe, the youngest of 7 children.

Eunice married her husband of 45 years, Donald Wargo, in 1949. They lived in the Chicagoland area before moving to Lisle in 1971. Together, the couple raised three boys; Don, David, and Dwayne. Eunice was a homemaker and enjoyed caring for her family. She also worked part-time at McDonald's in Lisle for many years, where she made many close friends. She always brought home Happy Meal toys for her grandchildren.

Eunice is survived by her sons, Don, David (Eileen), and Dwayne; grandchildren, David, Laura, Kaitlin, and Kelly; as well as many other beloved family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; siblings, George, Clarice, Lucille, Dorothy, Betty, and Bobby; and her parents.

A Celebration of Eunice's Life will be held on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 5015 Lincoln Ave., Lisle, from 3-7pm. Interment will be held privately at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 2501 E Euclid Ave, Arlington Heights. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Ronald McDonald House, 1301 W. 22nd Street, Suite 905, Oak Brook, IL 60523.
