Edith P. Sanders nee Sovig, 89, passed August 15, 2013; beloved wife of 49 years to the late Lloyd Lincoln Sanders; loving mother of Kathryn Sanders Ackley and Camilla (Raymond) Daly; cherished grandmother of William Lloyd Ackley, 23, Robert Sanders Daly, 21, Kaitlyn Camilla Daly, 18; adored sister of Otto (Marge) Sovig and sister-in-law of Ellis (Karen) Sanders; fond aunt to many. Edith was proud of her 33 years as a Registered Nurse and spent the majority of her career at Veterans Administration Hospital in Iowa City. In honor of Edith, memorials can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or to a charity of your choice.
