I'm sorry to hear today, Jan. 6, 2017, that Carrie has passed away.  She was in my type 1 diabetes group on Facebook.  Another member posted her obituary in the group.  My condolences to you and your family.  May she rest in peace.

I can't believe that you are gone. It's hard for me to even write this, as I never thought I would have to, none of us ever thought we'd have to. I am absolutely devastated. You have given me the greatest gift of all, a friendship and sisterhood that could never be broken in life and now unfortunately death. The past 38 years have been the best and for that I am eternally grateful. God blessing me with you for that long was an honor. The kids and I love you so much, we always have and we always will! You will NEVER EVER be forgotten!! I love you and you will ALWAYS be my best friend as nobody can or will ever replace you!
