Sandra J. Blanchette

1946-2023

Sandra Jean (Papsadora) Blanchette. 76. Of Abenaki Drive Lisbon Maine passed away with her family by her side Wednesday January 4, 2023 at Androscoggin Hospice House.

She was born in Rumford, Maine on June 9, 1946. A daughter of Annie and Salvatore Papsadora. She graduated from Mexico High School. She married Danny F Blanchette August 14, 1971 at St. Theresa's in Mexico Maine. They were married for 51 years. She worked for L.L. Bean for several years then she became disabled.

She found great joy in knitting, spending time with family and friends, going on afternoon rides and she enjoyed walks on the beach. She was a loyal Red Sox fan and enjoyed watching the games.

She is survived by her husband Danny, her 2 two daughters Tonia and Tina, her two grandsons Dylan and Ryan, two brothers Frank Papsadora and his companion Dawn Simmons, Thomas and Dottie Papsadora, and her sister-in-law Linda and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, and her brothers Daniel, Timothy, and William and her sister Judith.

Family and friends are invited to a church service at Holy Trinity Parish Church in Lisbon Falls Maine on Friday the 13th, 2023 at 11am. A memorial gathering will take place at The Left Hand Club on Saturday the 14th beginning at 12PM. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to Androscoggin Hospice House in Auburn Maine.
