Phyllis L. Curtis

Phyllis Louise Moore Curtis is with her heavenly Father having passed from a battle with metastatic breast cancer. She was the first born in Lisbon, Me. 1955 January 7 the daughter of Earl and Ruth (Plummer) Moore. She worked in Lisbon at IGA supermarket , Depositor Trust , Lisbon Credit Union , Androscoggin Bank , Larry Stewarts Auto , and TD Bank. She first married the late Dale Moore, Sr. and later married Layne Curtis. Phyllis loved her family , her siblings , their children, her children and grandchildren , and so many cousins and special friends Diane, Sandy, Terri, Lynn, Carol, Annette, Judith, Nancy and so many more...Phyllis was a wonderful person who helped so many without expectation. She loved her pets including Poppy. She loved to relax on the pontoon and read or swim or make a picnic basket. She loved the home at the lake. She is survived by her loving husband, Layne Curtis of Sabattus, her three sons Dale Moore, Jr. and his wife Julie of Lisbon, Keith Moore and his wife Tami of Hermon, and Jeffrey Moore and his wife Madonna of Houlton; her three sisters, Nancy Fraser and her husband Dennis of Durham, Sally Reed and her husband Lloyd of Lisbon and Betty Roy and her husband Don of Lisbon, and a brother, Wendall Moore of Sabattus as well as her nephews and nieces , Bonnie, Richelle, James, David , Jason, Ricky , Oralie, Oliver Jr, Susan, Shari , Angela, Patrick, Trista, Richard and Linnie. her cousins; Janice,Florence and so many more. There were so many Moores. She will be missed by so many...and we miss her terribly. Her Faith places her at the feet of Jesus , where she always knew she would be. No one should ever have to experience cancer and yet her dignity shines on us all. She is truly inspirational for so many. Good Bye Phyllis Louise...
