Joyce E Arnold

1943-2021

Auburn- Joyce E Arnold (Parker), 78, of Lisbon passed away at Clover Healthcare, on October 20, 2021, after a long illness. Joyce was born on August 15, 1943 to Sarah Knee Parker Simmons and Olin Parker and raised in Lisbon Falls, Maine.

Joyce graduated from Lisbon High School in 1961 and went on to graduate from CMVTI with a machinist degree in 1977. From there she worked at GE until she retired in the early 1980’s.

She loved to travel doing day trips and enjoyed eating out. In her later years she found a love for puzzles and bird watching. Her greatest love though was being a Nana to her grandchildren.

Joyce is survived by her two daughters Janna Card and husband Robert of Bowdoin, Althea Davis of Jay, six grandchildren Jason, Ryan, Robbie, Amanda, Nikki and Samantha, and 18 great grandchildren.

Joyce is preceded by her parents Sarah Simmons and Olin Parker, her step-father Lester Simmons, beloved sisters Althea, Olene and Martha, son in law Leonard Davis and many aunts and uncles.
