Jerry was often found riding his American Spirit motorcycle or driving his 1972 Roadrunner. Some of his favorite hobbies included lobstering, fiddlehead picking, planting and working in his garden, and family gatherings. He had many, many bonfires attempting to burn an old stump! He actually enjoyed cutting and splitting firewood, and stacking it became a family event. Jerry and all three sons and friends enjoyed many trips to the Miramichi River in Canada, salmon fishing.
In times of need, family and friends knew they always could depend on Jerry to help. He was fondly called Pepé by his grandchildren and he was delighted with every one of them. They were his crowning joy in his later years of life.
