Deborah Ruth Potter 96, of Lisbon Falls, went home to be with the Lord on November 5, 2010 with her loving family by her side.Deborah was born in Danville Illinois on November 21, 1913 a daughter of the late James Andrew Miller and Ethel Teressa (Hymer) Miller. Deborah was predeceased by her loving husband of 43 years, Rev. Franklyn Potter in 1987. She was also predeceased by her brothers Daniel Miller, James Miller, Billy Miller and sisters Mary (Miller) Struer and Reatha (Miller) Clemmons. She is survived by her son Frank Potter and wife Reva of Nashua, NH, her daughter Donna Whiting of Lisbon Falls ,and 4 grandchildren Aaron Potter and his wife Juanita of Milford, NH , Sean Potter of Nashua NH, Jennifer (Potter) Ladue and husband Richard of Bedford N.H . and William "Eric" Whiting of Auburn, Me. 8 great grandchildren Vanessa Potter, Ryan Ladue, Zachary Ladue, Joshua Ladue, Kevin Ladue, Caitlin Ladue, Caleb Potter and Hailee Potter and brother Grover Miller and sisters Madalyn Watts and Mildred Miller along with many nieces and nephews. Deborah was an ordained minister and assisted her husband Franklyn in churches throughout the United States. Deborah was a gifted concert pianist, and soloist. She served as the minister of music and choir director in the churches that she and her husband pastored. She was the director of Kiddie Kollege Nursery School for 20 years in Shelton, Ct. She loved her students and they felt the same about her, as she stills receives letters from her former students that are now grown with children of their own. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be missed by family and friends. Deborah's family wishes to express our deep appreciation for the loving care that the staff at Clover Manor Nursing home gave her the past 3 years.
