Yvonne Sandra Bullock made her transition to be with her lord and savior. Yvonne was
born on October 12, 1966 to the late Essie Mae Harris and Edward Gills in Elizabeth, NJ.
Yvonne attended school in Elizabeth Public Schools systems. She went on to school to do what she loved best, caring for those in need as a CNA and Home Health Aid. Yvonne took the utmost pride in caring for others as it was truly her gift, and natural calling. Spending so many dedicated years in the field she loved she accumulated a host of friends, which she eventually came to call family. Before her soon departure, she was employed at Renewal by Andersen in Cranford, NJ. She loved her co-workers and saw them as no less than family. She was eager to return back to work but unfortunately god had other plans.
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 was Yvonne’s favorite bible verse. It reads “Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” Yvonne loved the Lord, as she accepted him as her savior at a young age. She attended Trinity Temple Seventh Day Adventists Church in Newark, NJ with her mother for many years as a child. Yvonne was also a member of Faith Fellowship Ministries World Outreach Center in Sayreville, NJ (now known as Epic Church) under the leadership of the late Pastor David T. Demola. She loved to praise and worship God everyday through song. One of her favorite gospel songs was “Take me to the King'' by Tamela Mann. Yvonne knew how to find solace in the Word of God, and she would always lead others to do the same in their time of need.
On June 27 of 1995, Yvonne and Maurice were united in holy matrimony and became one as husband and wife. Maurice and Yvonne will forever be “soulmates” who were dedicated to one another and always kept God first in their marriage. They enjoyed spending quality time at the shore together and had future plans of traveling. Their song was “Out Of The Blue” by Blue Magic.
