Thomas Powers

Thomas Powers, 93, of Vonore, TN passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2022. Thomas was born on April 3, 1929 in Orange, NJ to his late parents Catherine (Penn) and Harold Powers. Thomas installed sheet rock and did spackling for Marcel Sheet Rock. He also worked for American Can and Automatic Switch. Thomas was a United States Army Veteran serving in the Korean War. He was a faithful communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church, and enjoyed fishing.

Thomas is predeceased by his wife Sophia (Bawolek) Powers; Brothers, Eddie, Harold, Bobby (Bob); Sister, Betty; Nephews, Marshall Powers, and wife Robin, Kenneth, and wife Gina, Bobby (Robert) Powers Jr.; Nieces, Sue Malcolm, and husband Darryl, Karen Alpaugh, and husband Steve, Barbara Powers; Sister in law, Helen Powers; Great Niece, Cati.

Visitation for Thomas will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 from 9:00AM to 10:30AM at Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 East St. George Avenue Linden. Funeral Mass will be held at Blessed Sacrament Church Elizabeth, 11:00AM. Entombment will be held at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia.
