Rosa A Gomez

Born in San Carlos, Antioquia, Colombia, on September 7, 1941, Rosa lived a life marked by love, devotion, and selflessness. She raised her six children—Elisa Garcia, Mirian Garcia, Francy Mayorga, Carlos Garcia, Miguel Garcia, and Joaquin Garcia—with strength, compassion, and unshakable faith.

In 1999, Rosa moved to the United States, continuing her life’s mission of caring for her family and guiding them with love and faith. Her legacy lives on through her 11 grandchildren—Carlos Castaño, Alejandra Garcia, Carlos E. Garcia, Franco Garcia, Norman Garcia, Stefania Garcia, Sebastian Mayorga, Isabella Mayorga, Sara Garcia, Santiago Garcia, and Santiago Mayorga—and her two great-grandchildren, Mathias Castaño and Sofia Mayorga.

Rosa was the heart of her family—a woman who gave everything she had so that others could thrive. Her life was a testimony of unwavering faith. Rain or shine, she never missed a Sunday at church, and she constantly brought her loved ones closer to God.

She had a heart full of kindness and always looked for ways to help those in need. Her joy, optimism, and spiritual wisdom lit up every room she entered. She taught us all to see life as a gift and to face every challenge with faith and gratitude.

Rosa passed into eternal peace, surrounded by love. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will forever live on in the lives she touched.

A memorial service for Rosa will be held Wednesday, April 16, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at KROWICKI MCCRACKEN FUNERAL HOME, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036. Following the memorial service will be a memorial mass from 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Most Holy Name Roman Catholic Church, 99 Marsellus Pl., Garfield, NJ 07026.

Rosa A. Gomez, una amada esposa, madre, abuela, bisabuela y fiel hija de Dios, falleció en paz el 10 de abril de 2025, rodeada del amor de su familia.

Nacida en San Carlos, Antioquia, Colombia, el 7 de septiembre de 1941, Rosa vivió una vida llena de amor, entrega y fe inquebrantable. Crió a sus seis hijos—Elisa Garcia, Mirian Garcia, Francy Mayorga, Carlos Garcia, Miguel Garcia y Joaquin Garcia—con fuerza, ternura y una profunda devoción.

En 1999, Rosa se trasladó a los Estados Unidos, continuando su misión de vida: cuidar de su familia y guiarlos con amor y fe. Rosa fue el corazón de su familia—una mujer que lo dio todo para que los suyos pudieran salir adelante. Su vida fue un testimonio de fe inquebrantable. No importaban las circunstancias, ella siempre encontraba la forma de asistir a la iglesia cada domingo y de acercar a los suyos al Señor.

Con un corazón lleno de bondad, siempre buscaba la manera de ayudar a los demás. Su alegría, su optimismo y su sabiduría espiritual iluminaban cada lugar que pisaba. Nos enseñó a ver la vida como un regalo y a enfrentar cada reto con gratitud y fe.

Rosa partió en paz hacia la eternidad, rodeada de amor. Su ausencia se sentirá profundamente, pero su espíritu vivirá por siempre en todos aquellos que tuvieron la bendición de conocerla.
