Melissa B. (Cruz) Vega, 85, of Elizabeth, New Jersey passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 25, 2021 at the Center of Hope in Elizabeth. She was Born on April 9,1936 in Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico to her parents Catalina and Sebastian Olmo . She is predeceased by her husband Jose Vega . Melissa was a homemaker a devoted wife ,mother ,loving sister, Grandmother, Great grandmother and Great Great grandmother. She was kind ,caring and generous she will greatly missed by all who new her.

Melissa is survived by her children Maria Sanchez ,Evelyn Rosado and her Husband Alfredo ,Melissa Gonzalez and husband Nelson, Angel Sanchez and wife Maria and Jacqueline Augusto and husband Rafael. Predeceased by her son Henry Sanchez. Also survived by her brother Tony Cruz and sister Margaret Cruz. 12 Loving Grandchildren ,22 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Granddaughter.

A visitation for Melissa will be held Tuesday, November 30, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036. Funeral service will be on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 with a visitation from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Bayview Cemetery, 321 Garfield Ave., Jersey City, NJ 07305.
