Marianna Aprile

Her early years were influenced by the circumstances of World War ll. At 11 yrs old she went to school for dress making. Starting at 16 yrs old, she developed a work ethic that would prove to be very successful throughout her adult life.

Marianna married Stefano Aprile on October 12th, 1957. In 1965, they immigrated to the United States with three young children, and settled in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Marianna would have three more children in the following 5 yrs. To support her family, in 1975, her passion for dress making would lead her to embark on her first business venture, the Mary Theresa Bridal Shop on Elizabeth Avenue.

It was at another of her businesses that she met her dear friend, Lea Paternostro.

She enjoyed her time spent with many friends at the the Ribera Women's Club.

Her constant desire and ambition for a better life for her family, Marianna became a successful real estate investor. Her accomplishments were extraordinary for a women who immigrated while raising six children.

Marianna is predeceased by her son Joseph Aprile. She is survived by her brother Pietro Truncale, and her beloved children Calogero and Lenka Aprile, Anthony and Donna Aprile, Serafino and Sandra Aprile, Peter Aprile and her daughter, Mary Theresa Aprile. Loving grandmother to Steven, Chaz,Savina, Arianna, Valentina, Michael, John, Cynthia, Nina, Mia, Christine, Michael, Giovanna, and her Great Grandsons Giovanni, Xeno and Leo.

Visiting Friday, January 6, 2023, 5:00-9:00 pm.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a funeral on Saturday, January 7, 2023, 9:00 am from Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036. A funeral mass St. Anthony's Church, Elizabeth, 10:00 am. Entombment Rosedale Cemetery, Linden.
