Jose A Caraballo

Our dearest father Jose A. Caraballo passed on to the heavenly realm at the age of 72 on Sunday April 30, 2023.

He was born on September 28, 1950 in his home town Yauco, Puerto Rico. In 1967 he moved to New York and settled down to raise a family in Elizabeth, New Jersey. He was a father of 4 children, 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and beloved by his relatives and friends.

Our father was the 6th child of 7 children born to Maria Praxedes Pieretti and Juan Bautista Caraballo. He had 3 brothers and 3 sisters: Carlos, Pedro Antonio, Nery, Margarita, Edith and one living sister Rosael (Rosin) Pieretti and niece Wanda

Our Father Jose had four children with his ex-wife Evelina Torres: Veronica, Yesenia, Jose and Joel,

9 grandchildren: Victor, Kares, Lynedia, Evelina, Desiree, Richard, Jaydon, Marcos and Abigail,

7 great grandchildren: Jazlenny, Genesis, Amari, Cannon, Gi'Lina, Alyanna and Az'Ora

Our Father impacted our lives in many ways. We have much appreciation and gratitude towards our father because he had a positive influence in our lives. He was always quick to lend a helping hand to those who were in need. He was a passionate man and loved with all his heart. Forgiveness was always a forefront in his attributes towards others. He cared, comforted and always mindful of his children. He loved interacting with people and making many friends. He always enjoyed the company of others. We will truly miss his forever young sense of humor. He was a great story teller. Giving honor to him for all he did for us and being a big part of who we are. We miss and Love you Papi until we see you again.

A visitation for Jose will be held Monday, May 8, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A private cremation will follow.
