We’ve been friends for 20 + years but we were more like brothers. I will always remember the days we played football with all the neighborhood kids to playing ding-dong ditch, riding bikes all over Elizabeth, the sleepovers and birthdays spent together and the most memorable one of all my first Giants game with you and your old man. We had a great childhood growing up and we remained good friends as adult men. I’m grateful to have grown up with you and your family, you guys made my brother and I feel like we were a part of the Gawronski family as well. I’m glad we were able to see one last Giants game together at my house and most importantly they beat the Cowboys. I never would’ve thought that was going to be our last game together. I lost a brother and a friend but I gained a guardian angel. I know you will be watching over your family and we will meet again one day. I will miss you very much Johnny, specially during the Giants games. Until we meet again “fat boy” rest easy my brother. Love always your brother Luis a.k.a. “fat boy”

I was fortunate to know and work with John for a few years.  We shared the desire for humane animal treatment while working together in pest control.  His love of animals and life itself were  inspiring. He was a good guy and I will always remember the times I  spent with him. Rest peacefully John.

My dear nephew - still so hard to believe you are no longer with us- I'll always remember when you were a little kid & I used to call you & Mike Bill & Ted - you's were definitley the 2 wild stallions Lol. You will be deeply missed & forever loved - rest peacefully 

Many of the happiest times in my life came when you were there Johnny, that was no coincidence. An indelible memory that always brings me a smile and how I knew you were a special friend, a brother, I know you'd agree, were the speechless, uncontrollable, unexplainable bouts of laughter feeding off one another that seemed unending, something I've never had before or since. 
Still seems surreal but there are so many moments and memories Ill cherish 'til we meet again. Forgive me for my shortcomings and continue watching over your friends and family as you always have. Say hey to your old man for me. Rest easy in Gods' hands Johnny, Love you, Stretch.🙏

If I spoke about some of the times we had in this post it will probably get censored just like you on Facebook😂😂 I don't know how to go forward with out my best friend I truly didn't know how important you were in my life until u were gone. I wish it was all a dream but unfortunately it's a reality that I'll never hear your laugh again I'll never be able to argue with u again even tho arguing with u was pointless cause u knew everything 😂😂 Im glad you were able to be a part of my life I just wish there was more time. Love u forever bro I will always remember you and the times that we shared through out the years. 

We had a lot of fun with You, Luis, Juan Carlos, Michael from pranks, water fight, snowballs fight, talking & playing football. God bless you and the family. My condolences and prayers to the family and friends.
