It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Enrique Lugo Jr, age 55, who departed this world on April 9, 2025 surrounded by the love of his family. Born on December 1, 1969, Enrique lived a life filled with warmth, kindness, and an unshakable joy that touched everyone who knew him.
Enrique was the beloved son of Irma Castillo, and the cherished brother of Marisol, Amy, Elvis, Rafael, Amircar, David and Joel. He was also a proud and loving uncle to twenty-one nieces and nephews, all of whom adored him dearly. His boundless love and infectious smile lit up every room he entered, and his presence was a constant source of strength and comfort to his family.
Through life’s many challenges, Enrique never lost his spirit. He faced every hardship with grace, resilience, and a smile that never faded. He taught those around him the true meaning of joy, compassion, and perseverance.
Enrique leaves behind a legacy of laughter, love, and unwavering positivity. He will be remembered for his generous heart, his constant encouragement, and the deep connections he forged with all who crossed his path.
A celebration of Enrique's life will be held on April 21, 2025 at Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home in Linden, NJ. Flowers are welcomed. The family asks that you honor his memory by sharing a smile with someone in need or lending a hand to those who may be struggling — just as he always did.

A visitation for Enrique will be held Monday, April 21, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at KROWICKI MCCRACKEN FUNERAL HOME, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036. A prayer service will occur Tuesday, April 22, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036. A funeral will follow at Rosehill Cemetery, 792 E Edgar Rd, Linden, NJ 07036.
