Cynthia Pagan-Wilson, affectionately known as Cindy, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2025, after a brief but valiant battle with stage 4 small-cell cancer. Born on September 21, 1956, at Women's Hospital in New York, Cindy was a beacon of strength, compassion, and faith in her community.
Cindy's family was unaware of her diagnosis until it was too late to intervene, but her legacy of love and service lives on. A devoted and God-fearing Roman Catholic, Cindy embodied the spirit of generosity and kindness. She was always ready to lend a helping hand, distributing clothing, food, and even offering shelter to those in need. Cindy’s selfless dedication touched countless lives and left an indelible mark on her community.
She is survived by her loving children, Greg, Phil, and Julius, and her beloved grandchildren: Nakirah, JuJu, Miyah, Gabriel, Isaac, Cayden, Chase, Caleb, and London. Cindy also leaves behind her cherished siblings, Billy, George, Parish, and Aida. She was predeceased by her beloved daughter, Yvette Wilson, who also courageously fought cancer. Cindy's enduring love for her family and her unwavering faith will forever be remembered.
Family and friends are invited to honor Cindy’s life at Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home in Linden, NJ. A wake will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. Funeral services will follow on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral will follow at Rosedale Cemetery, 750 E Linden Ave, Linden, NJ 07036.
Cindy’s life was a testament to the power of love, faith, and community. May she rest in eternal peace.
