Soon after, twin boys were born. In February of 1979, she became a United States citizen; one of the proudest moments in her life.
The family settled in Elizabeth, NJ to later move to Hillside, NJ. She re-entered the workforce once her four children entered high school and later retired from Universal Valve. She was an avid gardener and an excellent cook. She took pride in the meals she cooked for her family. She loved spending time with her in-laws, whom she adored. She would spend evenings by their side watching Novelas. She had an infectious laugh and a tremendous amount of love for her family. Nothing gave her more joy than spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also took pleasure in helping those in need. Always the entertainer, her door was open to everyone.
