Born on November 12, 1983, to parents Mirlande Paul and Martial Moise in Linden, New Jersey. She grew up with her sister, Dr. Tamara Chrystelle Moise. Catyche attended several schools during her education, starting at School Annex 4 and School #10 in Linden, NJ. She later attended McManus Middle School in Linden and then Kent Place High School in Summit, NJ. Catyche ultimately graduated from Manchester Township High School. After high school, Catyche pursued higher education at Union County College. Due to chronic illness, she was unable to graduate but continued her education through private tutoring and working as a private editor, assisting both graduate and undergraduate students. Catyche had a lifelong passion for books and was known for her voracious reading habits. She read non-stop throughout her lifetime, diving into various genres and authors. Her love for literature reflected her intelligence and deep empathy for others. Beyond her academic pursuits, Catyche was an advocate for humanitarian causes, supporting justice for all, animal rights, and demonstrating empathy for all living beings. She persevered through this world with an angelic light, always choosing kindness, understanding, and compassion.
Catyche was deeply connected to her family. She inherited her maternal great-grandmother’s name, along with her beauty, grace, and resilience.On her mother's side, she is survived by her grandmother Andrea Denise Paul and was loved dearly by her late grandfather Robergeau Paul. On her father's side, she is survived by Daniel and Rosa Moise. She also leaves behind nine aunts and six uncles. On her maternal side: Marie-Carmelle, Dennis, Reine-Marie, Georges Andre, Maxel, Pierre-Alfred, Danielle, Lumena, and Michelle Paul. On her paternal side: Daniella, Margella, Josette, Serge, and Donald Moise. Catyche had numerous cousins who cherish her memory. Above all, she is survived by her mother Mirlande and her beloved younger sister Tamara.
Catyche's legacy is marked by her unwavering commitment to making a positive impact on the world around her, despite facing personal challenges. Her kindness, intellect, and dedication to causes she believed in continue to inspire those who knew her.
A visitation for Catyche will be held Friday, June 28, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 E St Georges Ave, Linden, NJ 07036.
