Bibiche A Lessao

Bibiche Lessao, a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend peacefully transitioned from her earthly home to eternity on Saturday, April 05, 2025.Born on August 29, 1982 in Nioki, Democratic Republic of the Congo, she was the 3rd child to the late Joseph Mbo Lessao and Emilie Monka Inasili. She is survived by her older sister Nadine Lessao, younger brother Fabrice Lessao, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Bibi completed her elementary school at La Gare School and her high school at the Saint Pierre before attending college. She graduated from I.S.T.M. with an associate degree in Physical Therapy. In 2015, Bibi moved to New Jersey in the United States where she has resided until her passing.

Bibi’s life was a testament to her unwavering faith and love for Jesus Christ. She was a prayer warrior and loved spreading God’s love to those around her. She served in the choir at the New Life In Christ Church, her home church in Elizabeth, New Jersey.

Bibi was an active member of the Congolese Community of New Jersey where she served as the Treasurer on the Executive Board for 6 years up until 2023. Those who knew Bibi, remembered her love and passion for cooking and sharing delicious meals with people around her. She never missed cooking at events in the community. Her authentic smile was contagious; she will be deeply missed by all.

Bibi fought the good fight, and has finished the race. Praise the Lord!

A visitation for Bibiche will be held Thursday, April 17, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at KROWICKI MCCRACKEN FUNERAL HOME, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036. A prayer service will take place Friday, April 18, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036. A funeral will follow at Rosedale Cemetery, 750 E Linden Ave, Linden, NJ 07036.
