Mr. Torres employed by The City of Elizabeth for 35 years, retiring in 2013.
He was the beloved husband for 37 years of Gloria Torres, devoted father of Jeanette Fernandes, Jacqueline Colon and her partner Nikki Teague, Gloria Zangaro and her husband James Zangaro, Jorge Colon, Lochie Torres and Bernardo Torres. Cherished grandfather of Jorge Colon III, Breanna Zangaro, Andrew Colon, Janessa Fernandes, Matthew Colon, Kloe Colon and Chase Colon. He was predeceased by three brothers: Luis, Anibal and Norberto.
