Ann Marie Vasquez

Ann Marie Vasquez, age 77, of Elizabeth, New Jersey passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2022. Ann Marie was a lifelong resident of Elizabeth and a parishioner of Saint Mary of the Assumption and Saint Genevieve Church. She graduated from Saint Mary of the Assumption High School, and later went on to work there in the cafeteria where she was well known and loved by so many students and teachers. She was proud of her school and made many friends through the years working at Bingo at St Mary’s. Everyone knew her for being funny and lighthearted. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She is predeceased by her father Angelo Avoil and her mother Dominica (Mary) Avoil. She leaves her daughter Johnna-Marie Hamilton and son-in-law Jason, her son Ricardo Vasquez, Jr and daughter -in-law Catherine and five grandchildren:

Jason,Jillian, Jamielynn Hamilton, Richard and Grace Vasquez.

A visitation for Ann will be held Wednesday, January 4, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036. Friends and family are invited to gather at the funeral home the following morning at 9:00 AM. A funeral mass will take place Thursday, January 5, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Genevieve's Church, 200 Monmouth Rd, Elizabeth, NJ 07208. A private cremation will follow.
