It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Alfred "Freddy" Quinones, who passed away on 04/14/2025 at the age of 71. Born on 12/16/1953 in Manhattan NY, Freddy was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many.
Freddy was known for his loud stern voice, warm smile and generous spirit, his infectious laughter and ability to light up a room, his unwavering loyalty and kind heart. He cherished his family above all else and was a devoted father, doting grandfather, supportive brother, crazy fun-loving uncle. His unconditional love, guidance, and argumentative nature will be deeply missed.
Freddy dedicated years to roofing and was known for always being supportive. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and planting his veggies.
Freddy was a fighter who faced his Caner and recent health challenges with courage and determination. While his time with us was shorter than we ever imagined, he leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, strong family bonds, and kindness.
He is survived by his family members, daughter: Maria Quinones, granddaughter :Aaliyah Quiñones, siblings: Eileen Cuevas and Edwin Quiñones, nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Alfredo Quiñones and Bonifacia Garay,and siblings: Judy, Nelson, Yvette and Abigail. Freddy's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace.
A visitation for Alfred will be held Thursday, April 24, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at KROWICKI MCCRACKEN FUNERAL HOME, 2124 East Saint George Ave, Linden, NJ 07036. A funeral service will take place Friday, April 25, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park, 1500 Stuyvesant Ave., Union, NJ 07083.
