William Keith Jacobs, 98, Lincoln, died February 26, 2015 at Eastmont Towers. Born April 10, 1916 on the family farm near Daykin, NE to Edwin and Lydia (Schilke) Jacobs. Graduate of Fairbury HS and Nebraska Wesleyan University. He had a long career in farming and feeding cattle. In 1941 married Gretchen Kelly in Vancouver, WA. They were married 68 years before Gretchen died in 2009. Upon retirement in 1977 they moved to Lincoln, NE. He enjoyed traveling, taking care of his yard, watching all sports, the stock market, and collecting coins. He was active in the Lutheran Church.
Keith is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Jan and Bob Sibal,

his nephews Stephen, Robert, Douglas, Richard, and Gregory Johnson, nieces Mary Johnson Meyer, Donna Hall, Patsy Peeler and Leila Niemann.Great- Granddaughter Shelby Sibal. Also survived by numerous other relatives. He was preceded in death by parents, wife, sister and brother-in-law Ruth and Henry Johnson, grandson Gregory Sibal, and son John Edwin.
