The announcement of Wayne’s death brought back special memories how fortunate I was as a young person growing-up in rural Wymore and being a  neighbor to the Hobelman Family.  I will never forget Wayne’s engaging personality and smile.  Maya Angelou’s quote best explains Wayne Hobelman, “People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”  Even though Wayne’s body betrayed him, it never prevented him from always making you feel you were special. May the force of happiness continue with you Wayne, a true friend and old neighbor.

To Wayne's family---our deepest sympathies to all of you in the loss of Wayne.  We are also long-time members of Christ Lincoln, and we knew Wayne (and Linda) very well.   Their faith was wonderful, and may you be comforted knowing Wayne and Linda are reunited in heaven.

Our prayers to all of you, and may the memories you have help sustain you during this difficult time.

To Wayne's family, prayers to all with my deepest sympathy.  I am sending this message as the wife of an old friend of Wayne's, Skip Creek from Blue Springs, Nebraska.  We shared laughs and the guys told stories of the old high school days on visits back to Blue Springs/Wymore.  May he rest in peace.

My sincere sympathy to Wayne's family &  friends.  Wayne was a good friend of my dear brother Clifford "Skip" Creek.  So many happy thoughts.

Therefore with angels and archangels and with all the company of heaven we laud and magnify Thy holy name evermore praising Thee...and now Wayne walks among all company of heaven.
