WANDA FAYE HARRELL Wanda Faye Harrell, age 88, of Lincoln, died Tuesday, September 27, 2016. Born in Hollis, OK to George William and Ivy Viola Sommers Hubanks. She was employed with and retired from the Fairfax County School System in Fairfax, VA. Wanda was an active member of Bethany Christian Church in Lincoln. Along with her husband, Dale, she was a self-proclaimed genealogist and an active reader of historical novels and books about the Holy Land. She was preceded in death by her husband, Owen Dale Harrell, and by her parents. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, William James and Patsy Wrinkle Hubanks; her son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Dottie Harrell; her daughter and son-in-lay, Melanie Harrell and Justin (Chip) Poe; grandchildren and spouses, Melanie and Tyler Delaney, Allison and Dan Hatch; great-grandchildren, Olivia, Owen, and Clayton Delaney and Josephine Hatch; and her nieces, Vicki Locklear, Patti Appel, Sherree Coulson, and Sheila Timmons. Memorial Service: Will be held at later date at Bethany Christian Church, 1645 North Cotner, Lincoln, NE. In lieu of flowers memorials to the church.
