Terry graduated from Seward High School in 1971. After graduation he attended Southeast Community College - Milford, where he studied Commercial Arts followed by attending Southeast Community College - Lincoln, where he studied Electronic Engineering. Terry worked for the State of Nebraska - Department of Roads for 27 years. Partner with MT Systems. He enjoyed woodworking and volunteering with the media at Holy Savior Lutheran Church, Word of Life Church and the Center for People In Need in Lincoln. Terry had an infectious personality - he loved being around others and people enjoyed being around him. He had the ability to make people laugh along with the charm of being funny.
Terry married Shirley Ropers on April 7, 1978 at North Branch Lutheran Church of Avoca, NE. To this union were born two sons Curtis and Craig.
Terry is survived by his wife, Shirley; sons, Curtis (Jamie) Guy, Craig (Jeni) Guy; grandchildren, Hayden Guy, Jacob Guy, Arthur Carter, and Ian Carter; sister-n-law and brother-in-law Sharon and Kurt Brandt, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Albert and Amy Ropers; along with nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Michel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Word of Life Church in Lincoln.
