
Sujay Kollipara, 49, of Lincoln, Nebraska, passed away on November 8, 2017 peacefully in his sleep. Sujay was born in Secunderabad, India on March 11th, 1968. He graduated from St. Paul Lutheran High School in Concordia, Missouri, and went on to study at Concordia University in Seward and receive a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in sociology, as well as a Masters n Counseling from Doane University in Crete, Nebraska. Sujay worked as a counselor at Epworth Village in York, Nebraska, Orr Psychotherapy in Lincoln, Nebraska, and at Cypress Creek Hospital in Houston, Texas. He enjoyed golfing, classic rock music, eating good food, rooting for the Huskers, watching sports, and spending time with his friends and family. Sujay is survived by his parents, Drs. Jayasuri and Indira Kollipara; his brother and sister-in-law Samith and Stephannie Kollipara; his 3 nephews, Ian, Brighton, and Oliver, and his girlfriend, Nancy Lehfeldt. The family has suggested giving a memorial gift to Saint Paul Lutheran High school in memory of Sujay in lieu of sending flowers.
