Shellie A Winingar

Born to Shirley Ann Steffen-Winingar on Thursday May 2nd 1968 in Lincoln Ne.

She returned to her creator and left glittery footprints on our hearts on Saturday January 29, 2022 in Lincoln Ne.

Shellie's innocent, creative and spicy nature makes it difficult for anyone to forget her.

She has lived a full spectrum of life that many will not get to experience, thus leaving a positive effect on them and inspiring us to live in the moment and not be concerned with other peoples' judgment.

Shellie was in the care of many providers, however, her constant for nearly 2 decades was with the family of Sonja Moore. The bond that was formed was undeniable.

It was always easy for her to make new friends.

Shellie has always dreamed of going to Disney world, she got that opportunity to meet the mouse of her dreams Mickey, on her special trip.

She enjoyed participating in the Special Olympics bowling for over 3 decades.

She loved to paint, music, dancing, Scooby doo and babies.

She loved to go on shopping sprees with her mom and Sonja.

She loved to get her nails done and wear pretty jewelry, and have her hair done.

Mother Shirley Ann Winingar, grandparents Alfred and Marie Steffen, uncle/godfather Duane Steffen, great uncle and aunt Jack and Verna Moore, honorary parents Rose and Vern Agena and honorary mother Linda Madsen.

Survived by:

Honorary Mother Gail Bergsven, honorary father Roger Madsen.

Sister and brother in law Laurie and Kevin Madsen, sisters Marvlyn Martinez, Sonja Moore and Karen Wallick-Anderson Rhonda Agena, Sheila Elliot. Brother Randy Agena, Craig Madsen, Ronn Cook and wife Karen, Mark Olson and wife Lori. Aunt Janet Motley Green,Aunt/godmother Judy Steffen. Nieces Majesta Madsen and spouse Brandon, Journey Delisle, Megan Kauphusman, LaTikka Moore. Nephews Herb Madsen, Damin Madsen and spouse Jeanette, Orion Delisle and wife Desiré, Kurt Delisle, Jon Delisle and wife Desiree, Kane Martinez, Christopher Bradford. Great nephews Trenten Scalf-Madsen, Brock Skeahan, Kenneth Delisle, Kaiden Delisle, TiiShaun Moore, Ky’Mahnii Love-Moore, Yu’Ziiah Moore. Great nieces Emily Delisle, Bailey Skeahan, Breelynn Skeahan, Audrey Delisle, Lydia Delisle, Raiine Moore. Many cousins and friends who became family.

Shellie will live on in our memories and hearts, her story is “ to be continued “.

A visitation for Shellie will be held Monday, February 7, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 S. 14th St, Lincoln, NE. A celebration of life service will occur Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at 2:00 PM, 6800 S. 14th St, Licnoln, NE. An interment will occur Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, 6700 S. 14th St, Lincoln, NE.

Serving as pallbearers are Randy Agena, Craig Madsen, Kane Martinez, Orion Delisle, Herb Madsen, Damin Madsen, Tiishaun Moore and Ky'mahnii Love-Moore.
