Sharon Ann Ahrends

Sharon Ann Ahrends, age 76, of Ashland, formerly of Lincoln, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2023. Sharon was born January 9, 1947 to Gerald and Pearl Traudt. Sharon is survived by her loving husband of 56 years Keith Ahrends; son, John Ahrends(Candace), daughter, Sherry (Derrick) Dea; brother, LeRoy (Margaret) Traudt; grandchildren, Kaelan (Jessica N.) Dea, Meghan Dea(fiancé Travis), Lorelei Ahrends, Jessica M. Dea(s/o Edgar), Andrea Dea(s/o Ben); many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A visitation for Sharon will be held Thursday, February 16, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 S 14th St, Lincoln, NE 68512, followed by a celebration of life at 2:00 PM. for more information go to www.lincolnfh.com. Services will be livestreamed.

Sharon’s favorite animals would be cats, dogs. Her favorite color would be pastel pinks and purples.

She taught Sherry and her kiddos how to bake and plant flowers

Some things that she loved would have to be gardening, spending time with her family, word searches, crocheting, puzzles with her friend Judy, watching Elvis tribute artist (Joseph Hall), she loved watching and feeding the birds and squirrels, she loved her Hulu.

Sharon was an amazingly strong women that worked many years at Goodyear Tires. She could make the darkest cloudiest day into the brightest sunny day just with a simple smile or laugh. She was loved by many and will be truly missed.
