Mr. Robert L Strahan

Robert L. (Bob) Strahan, 79 of Lincoln passed away Wednesday, June 15, 2016. He was born in Lincoln, Nebraska on January 29, 1937 to Don and Martha Strahan. He graduated from Lincoln Northeast High School. He retired from Burlington Northern Railroad in 2000, after 36 years. He was also retired from the Army National Guard after 22 years of service. Bob was a member of Grace Evangelical Community Church. He married Margaret Putnam on November 26, 1960 and they had celebrated 55 years together. Bob is survived by his wife Margaret of Lincoln, daughter, Christine (Troy) Riggs of California, Maryland, son, Daniel (Diane) Strahan of Bedford, Texas, five grandchildren, Jennifer, Stephanie, Casey, Sarah and Jacklyn, three great-grandchildren, Amelia, Lily and Gavin. He was preceded in death by his son, William, brother, Don Wendell and his sister, Donna Louise. A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 20, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Evangelical Community Church in Lincoln. Interment with Military Honors will be in Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery.
