Bonnie, thank you for sharing this incredible man with us.  Bob will forever be in Monty's heart because of his heart for Jesus.  He loved the Lord and he showed with every breath he had. Dear Bonnie, Steve, and Gary - We are so sorry to hear about Bob's passing and know that this must be a difficult time.  I will always remember our trips from MN to Lincoln and just listening to Bob telling stories about growing up with my dad and the other kids in the family.  I don't think that I ever saw him without a smile on his face.  Seeing the way he and Bonnie built your family was a part of defining what I wanted out my own marriage and family.

Hoping that this is a time that turns into a celebration of Bob's life.

Dear Bonnie and family,
My sympathy to you.  Bob was my cousin. His father Foster and my father along with another brother went on family picnics and fishing trips to Minnesota when I was a boy.
We were in similar lines of work in Lincoln for some 40 years and both ended up as members of St, Marks Church . He will be missed.

Bob reached out to help me when I was starting my career. He was always a  great mentor and good friend that could be counted on. Bob was so talented in all areas of the mechanical trade and in many ways was a legend in the industry. Bob was always willing to help.

Bob led by example. He was a devoted husband and father. Bob loved his family. He also was a friend that I will always miss.

Bob was one of my first friends when I came to Lincoln. A generous, sensitive, caring and creative person; a father who nutured two productive sons; and a wife he loved with his whole being. He will be missed by many. Bonnie, Steve and Gary you have my deepest sympathy. The arms of our Father are around him now, and he is at peace.

What a guy!  What special friends Bonnie & Bob have been!  Bob always carried a smile, at times I think he carried extra ones in his pocket and handed them out, unbeknowesst to those around, and put them on those faces around him.  Bob's positive attitude was admirable. The job Bob & Bonnie did raising two wonderful sons speaks loudly of their strong family values.  Bob will be missed. The impact Bob and you, Bonnie, have made on our lives is something we will cherish to the end of our days on earth.  Bob (and the other trustees of St. Mark's Methodist Church) put their arms and hearts around Monty and helped guide him when he was hired over 11 years ago as the Building Superintendent of St. Marks church and since Monty's retirement.  Bob will leave a void in the church that few will ever come close to begin to fill, but Heaven will have gained a GREAT SOUL!  We love you, and pray we could be there for you Bonnie in the coming days.   We are grateful that God has allowed us the pleasure in sharing a small part of your lives.
