Robert (Bob) was born on September 4, 1932, in Topeka, KS. He married his wife Lorraine Marie Lubke on December 23, 1977. Bob worked in the agricultural industry and he loved spending time with his family and friends. Bob had the gift of gab; he was easy to talk with and he talked to everyone he met. He loved Hot Springs Village, AR and attended Kirk in the Pines Presbyterian Church for many years. Bob and Lorraine enjoyed being together and they played golf, cards with friends, and traveling with their RV group. They traveled all over the United States and his favorite places were the Pacific Northwest and Vancouver, Canada. They also traveled to Europe, where he once lived, and toured Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France and Austria. They also took a Mediterranean cruise.
He is preceded in death by his mother and father Walter and Leah Berry, daughter LeeAnn Barry, brother Richard Darrell Berry, great grandson Michael Barry, wife Anna Lislotte Hartenstein Berry.
He is survived by his wife Lorraine Marie Berry, two sons: Mike Berry and Richard Berry, four daughters: Monica Goodwin, Kim (Paul) Harano, Carrie (David) Harris, Susan (Chad) Stevens, ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
His memorial service with full military honors will be held Saturday, November 27, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 6800 S. 14th St, Lincoln, NE. Interment to be held at a later date. The service will be livestreamed for those unable to attend. Please follow the livestream link below at the start of the service to join the family virtually.
