Randy was a most accomplished person. He was, at various times in his life, a certified mechanic, a police officer, a deputy sheriff, a soldier in Viet Nam whose courage and devotion to duty and his fellow soldiers earned him a Bronze Star in that field of combat, and later a Naval Officer and an attorney.
He loved hunting, fishing and target shooting. He was a natural and exceptional shot with any sort of firearm all his life and was a distinguished expert pistol shot and rifleman with the Army. He later on won many trophies, awards and even a few national and international championship titles.
Randy was always learning something new and expanding his interests, from honing his gunsmithing and mechanical skills to learning to engrave the intricate patterns on firearms, to creating something new and delicious from what he could find in the kitchen.
Randy will be missed greatly by family and friends, and until we all meet again, he will be kept in our minds and hearts always.
