Norma Jean Loos, age 94, peacefully entered the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday September 23, 2022. She was born to Lee and Alma (Holmberg) Lindamood on June 17, 1928 in Yutan, NE. She lived in Wahoo, NE until the 6th grade when she moved to Havelock. She married John G. Loos on September 20, 1947, together they were blessed with 3 children, Douglas (Dodie) of Shawnie, Kansas, Jeffrey of Lincoln, NE, and Katherine (David) Worster of Lincoln, NE. 5 grandchildren, Andrew Loos of Los Angeles, CA, Daniel (Jaymie) Loos of Shawnie, KS, Tracy (Daniel) Owens of Lincoln, NE; 4 great grandchildren, Tyler and Cameron Loos of Los Angeles, CA, Payton and Olivia Owens of Lincoln, NE.
Norma is survived by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren; sister & brother in-law, Donald (Velma) Nielsen of Lincoln; sister in-law, Willa Loos of Lincoln and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by, husband, John G. Loos; parents, Lee and Alma Lindamood; brothers and sisters in-law, Merrill (Juanita) Lindamood, and Lyle (Donita) Lindamood; sister and brother in-law, Dorothy (Bill) Laursen; granddaughter, Jaymie Loos; 18 beloved brothers and sisters in-laws from the Loos family and many nieces and nephews.
Norma enjoyed working as a candy packer at Russell Stovers Candies for many years. She was a quiet faithful women who loved the Lord, her family, friends, neighbors, and church family. Her true delight was in serving others at many church and family gatherings. Norma was an inspiration in her love for others especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Norma will lovingly be remembered by her kindness and ever present smile by family and friends until the day we are reunited together in heaven.
Visitation with family: 5-7 PM Wednesday, September 28, 2022 Funeral Service: 10 AM Thursday, September 29, 2022 all at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home 6800 S. 14th Street, Lincoln. Pastor Peter Schroeder of Immanuel Church officiating. Luncheon immediately following interment at WSI Hall 1430 N. 10th Street, Lincoln.
