Our dear mother, Miladeen Mae Parker sadly passed away on April 15, 2024 at the age of 94. She was a devoted mother who was always there when we needed her. She also had many friends and was a well- loved member of the community at Maplecrest Health Care Center in Omaha, Nebraska, where she died peacefully.
She was born on October 30, 1929 in Crete, Nebraska, to Emil Plachy and Louise (Aksamit) Plachy.
She grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska where she was a 1947 graduate of Lincoln High School.
In later years she moved to Plattsmouth, Nebraska with her husband of 69 years, Wilbur L. Parker Jr.
She is survived by her children: James (Alice), Kathleen (Thomas) Brazer, Thomas, and Daughter-In-Law (Michelle) 7 Grand Children and 10 Great Grand Children
Her Funeral Mass is Saturday, May 4, 11:30 AM, St Patrick's Catholic Church of Elkhorn, Church, 20500 West Maple Road, Elkhorn, Nebraska. Burial: Friday, May 10, 3:30 PM, Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, 6700 South 14th Street, Lincoln, NE. Family and friends will meet at Gate #2 prior to the service. lincolnfh.com
