Martha Jean (Ross) Swenson, age 84, of Lincoln, Nebraska passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 17, 2024 surrounded by her family. She was born on June 24, 1940 in Lincoln, Nebraska to Frank and Pauline Ross in Davey, NE.
Martha married Lenard Swenson on January 20, 1957. Martha traveled with Lenard during his 20 years in the United States Air Force.
Martha is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Lenard; children, William Swenson (Robbin), Debbie Swenson (Ron); Gerald Swenson (Nina), and Frank Swenson (Tracy); nine grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren. Martha is preceded in death by her parents; son; granddaughter; sister; and two brothers.
A visitation for Martha will be held Tuesday, October 22, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home. A celebration of life will 2:00 pm Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home 6800 S. 14th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska 68512..
