Marian Napier

Marian Napier, age 75, of Lincoln, went to be with her Lord Friday, February 17, 2023. Marian was born November 25, 1947 to Gerald and Vera Walkinshaw. Marian is survived by her loving children, Cathy (Dennis) Conway, William (Brandy) Napier; siblings, Bill (Carol) Walkinshaw, Bob (Jane) Walkinshaw; 20 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Marion lived a fulfilling life as a loving wife to her late husband Harold, a mother to her 3 children, grandmother and great grandmother and a friend to many. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and in her spare time enjoyed reading books. Marion worked as a home healthcare worker for most of her life. Once she retired, she worked as a volunteer making crafts that were sent to children in other countries. Marion enjoyed going to church and reading her bible daily. Marion’s favorite thing was collecting angels, all different kinds. Marion will be missed by her family and friends. “We know that we can't have you back but we're happy knowing that the angels have finally got you.” Goodbye to a wonderful woman and a beautiful mother!

A memorial celebration of life for Marian will be 10:00 am Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at Oak Lake Evangelical Free Church, 3300 N 1st. St., Lincoln, NE 68521. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service.
